Joe Town Mini Golf and Cool Crest are open from mid-April through mid/late-October
(Season dependent on weather - once it starts freezing at night, we decide our opening and closing dates!)

Memorial Day and Labor Day hours, we are open normal hours. July 4th, we close at 4pm.
2025 Pricing: Ages 6 and up are $9.25 plus tax.

Once again, we’re serving up the old root beer floats you remember in the frosted mugs.
Cool Crest Garden Golf was opened in 1948 by Jan and Guy Saxton. It operated for 70 years as a beautiful entertainment destination for NW Missouri. Many have very special memories of their visits over those 70 years.
Cool Crest did not open after closing for the season in Fall 2017. A “FOR SALE” sign was posted at the end of 2018, and maintenance stopped on the property. Many feared it would be purchased and demolished because it sits in a prime location.
On January 6, 2021, Joe Town Mini Golf purchased Cool Crest Garden Golf in St. Joseph.
As soon as the weather allowed us to, we began restoration. We expect to reopen by Summer 2021. We look forward to what 2021 will be for the friends and families of St. Joe, NWMO, and further.
